Meeting Minutes
February 26, 2007

Opening:
The regular meeting of the Saxony Condominium Association Board of Directors was called to order at 7:15 PM on February 26, 2007 at the Saxony Clubhouse.

Present:
Marcel Scheel, Jeremy Satterlee, Page Perry, Adam Bresson, Tamela Collins, Phillip Ramey, Tricia Simon

New Business:

  • Address Registration: Tamela shared that Saxony is still registered with the USPS as an apartment. SUHRCO to contact area postmaster and take necessary steps to register Saxony as condominium.
  • Selection of Board Roles: Adam Bresson, President; Page Perry, Vice President; Tamela Collins, Treasurer; Phillip Ramey, Secretary; Tricia Simon, Member-at-Large. Marcel to provide the Board with roles of the board documents.
  • Rental Cap: A rental cap is not currently in place. Marcel will provide the Board with rental exposure data.
  • Reserve Accounts: The Association is required to have a maintenance reserve account and the Board established a maintenance reserve account with Key Bank. Adam will obtain bank fee information from SUHRCO for evaluation before an insurance reserve account is established.
  • Collection Resolution Policy: Marcel recommended that a collection resolution policy be implemented and will provide the Board with a draft policy.
  • Clubhouse Use Policy: The Board discussed the creation of a clubhouse use policy. Marcel will provide the Board with a draft policy.
  • Board Communication: The Board expressed a desire to create a communication to homeowners that includes tips and reminders on topics such as insurance and maintenance of appliances including water heaters, parking, and garbage.
  • Violation of Declaration Provision 10.1: It has been reported that a business of some kind is being run out of B101. A violation notice will be provided by SUHRCO to the unit owner.

Meeting was adjourned at 9:00 PM by Marcel Scheel. The next general meeting will be at 7:00 PM on April 5, 2007, at the Saxony Clubhouse.
