Annual and 2011 Budget Meeting

Budget Meeting

• Quorum of homeowners needed to conduct the budget meeting was not met – only 21 homes represented either by the owner or by proxy.
• Budget passes by default.

Roll Call –Quorum of homeowners not met. Annual meeting cannot be conducted.

• Unable to conduct business annual meeting due to lack of homeowner representation either in person or by proxy.
• Another meeting will need to be held as there are people who would like to run for the open positions on the board.  Elections cannot happen if there is not a quorum of homeowners (in person or by proxy) at the meeting

In June we will be performing maintenance on the entire parking area. This maintenance will consist of asphalt repairs on various parts of the parking lot, seal coating the entire lot, re-striping the entire lot, as well as painting curbs.

A specific date for the beginning of the project has not been determined however it is likely it will come with only a few days notice. Weather is a factor in determining if the project can commence or not.

When dates are determined and the project begins, please look for notices on a daily basis to see if the contractor will be working near your vehicle. It may be necessary that your vehicle needs to be moved to another location on the property on a certain day.

We require the cooperation of everyone to ensure this project is completed as quickly and efficiently as possible. We thank everyone in advance and please inform management of any questions you may have.

This past week marked the opening of Sammamish’s weekly farmers market. The market takes place every Wednesday from 4pm – 8pm at the City Hall Plaza.

Tuesday, August 4, 7pm to 9pm:  Your Board will be sponsoring a BBQ GetTogether for all residents of Saxony.  Come and meet your neighbours.  Some munchies will be provided;  if you would like to BBQ, eat or drink specific items, please bring them along.

We will be enjoying the evening at the Cabana, inside and out…  Please join us!

The BBQ is in conjunction with the national Annual Night Out (http://www.nationaltownwatch.org/nno/).

The Board would like to commend Chris (Bldg C) for his help in making the planters between C and D buildings look wonderful.

If you would like to adopt specific planter boxes, please let the Board know. Though there are a few restrictions and requirements, a little help can go a long way towards making our homes beautiful.
